Protesters won concessions on eight of their 10 demands, including an agreement to implement support for 10 displaced Palestinian students to finish their education at Rutgers, develop a plan for the creation of an Arab Cultural Center on the New Brunswick campus to start by the fall semester and the development of training sessions on anti-Palestinian, anti- Arab and anti-Muslim racism for all Rutgers administrators and staff.
Holloway reiterated that he does not support the protesters’ demand to sever financial ties with companies that do business with Israel, and Rutgers will not end its educational ties with Tel Aviv University.
